Revolution in Zabriz

Plot summary

On the seven-hundredth day of the year Yuss, Trigo is crowned the first emperor of the Trigan Empire.

Since Janno is to succeed him later, Trigo sends him to Zabriz, where Akkan is now governor. Janno must restore order. Akkan forces the people of Zabriz to work as slaves in the ore mines. Janno frees these people. Akkan then ensures that the people abuse their newfound freedom and begin looting. Over the radio, Akkan receives full authority from Trigo to restore order and to arrest Janno and Keren.

Trigo decides to go in disguise as a troubadour to see what is happening in Zabriz. Akkan’s nephew, an officer of Trigo, sends a wedon bird with the message that Trigo is on his way. Trigo is captured, but just as he is sentenced to death, the people rise up again and free him. While fleeing from Trigo, Akkan dies. Trigo makes the former slaves free citizens of the Trigan Empire.
