Plot summary

Trigo decides that Janno, the son of his brother Brag, must receive flying lessons. The pilot Zufio becomes his instructor. They begin practicing over the jungle of Daveli. There, the two suns of Elekton shine. Suddenly, one of the plane’s engines explodes and they crash.

In the jungle, one of the infamous monsters of Daveli comes toward them. But they are rescued by a group of warriors. The warriors take them to a temple by a large river. The leader of the people, Imbala, wants to sacrifice them to the river monsters. His son Keren is ill, and he hopes that they will die instead of his son.

In Trigan City, they hear that the plane has crashed. A rescue attempt seems too difficult, but Peric knows it is possible to reach the jungle via a river. They fly low over the river in a plane into the jungle and arrive at the temple where Janno is. They land, and Trigo gets into a fight with Imbala and defeats him.

Trigo takes Imbala and his son to Trigan City. Salvia heals Keren. To seal the friendship between Trigo and Imbala, they become blood brothers. Imbala returns, but Keren stays behind to receive flying lessons together with Janno.
